This course will introduce you to both manual and computerised accounting processes and enable you to develop the skills you need to create summaries of financial transactions for business. You will also develop skills to be able to produce and analyse financial reports, prepare simple and complex tax returns and lodgements and develop business plans. You will also learn how to conduct internal audits, implement tax plans and evaluate tax compliance whilst creating and using complex spreadsheets.
Students must complete a total number of 8 units which comprise of 3 core units plus 5 elective units. Electives are determined by the Institute you are enrolled at. Core units are :
